Ileana who is highest paid actress in south Indian film industry, is going to act with south super star Rajinikanth in his forthcoming film Rana. In this high budget movie Rajini kanth is playing the triple roles.

Simbhu Injured in Vaanam Shooting
The super hit Telugu film Vedham is now being remade in Tamil with the title Vaanam. Simbu and Anushka are in the lead roles. Bharath, Sonia Agarwal and Prakashraj are also starring in this film. Krish who directed Vedham is also directing Vaanam. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music.
When the shooting of Vaanam is going on top gear, Simbhu sustained an injury. The doctors have advised for immediate surgery.

Thamanna who had acted in hit films like Padikadhavan and Ayan has been signed to pair with Vijay in his 50th film. Sangli Murugan is producing this film. This film is a high budgeted film. She is also pairing with Jayam Ravi in the Tamil remake of Telugu film Kick. Jayam Raja is directing this film. There is news that Thamanna has hiked her salary. When asked about this, she said,” There is no truth in the news that I had hiked my salary. Story is very important for me and the other factors are secondary.

Director K S Ravikumar while speaking about Raana said," Raana will be the biggest film ever made in India. I will be directing this film. I am also writing the screenplay and dialogues for the story written by super-star Rajnikanth. Rajni has written the story based on some incidents that happened in the 18th Century.
