A song sequence featuring Surya and 1000 dancers were shot for the film Ezham Arivu. Ezham Arivu is a film which has Surya and Shruthi Haasan in the lead roles is being produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin under the banner Red Giant Movies.
A R Murugadoss is directing the film. The Surya introduction song has been shot in a gargantuan way. The song sequence was shot in 40 locations in and around Chennai. 1000 dancers have featured in this song. 400 dancers from Dance Union, 200 old dancers and 400 dancers from the dancing schools in and around Chennai have featured in this sequence.
Apart from this song was shot in the crowded T Nagar Ranganathan Street. The sequence featuring Surya was shot using 8 candid cameras. Surprisingly Surya was not recognized initially but later on when the crowd recognized him, he was mobbed. He was saved fro this frenzy crowd by the help of the police personnel. The shooting of the film is in final stages and the post production is to commence next month.
