Hindi remake of Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu

The Tamil hit film Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu which had Kamal Haasan in the lead role is to be remade in Hindi. It is understood that Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are trying very hard to don the lead role. In the recent times, Bollywood eyes have turned towards Kollywood. The reason for this is that the Tamil films released in the recent times have turned out to be super duper hits.

These hit films are remade in Hindi and have yielded great profits. The Hindi film Body Guard which was the remake of the Tamil film Kaavalan has yielded a profit of Rs 21 Crores on the first day of its release. This is the only film in Indian cinema which has earned so much profit on the first day itself. Because of this, other Bollywood actors are showing keen interest for Tamil cinema. At this juncture, Gowtham Menon is planning to remake the Tamil film Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu which had Kamal Haasan in the lead role in Hindi.

It is understood that either Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan will don the role which Kamal Haasan donned in the Tamil version.
